- Lumi’s value prop on the top-level is different than Amazon’s product packaging strategy. Amazon package everything in only three box sizes, if you are buying a laptop or a pen, they use the same box size (I am sure you have notice that before), it’s a way for them to effectively stuff the boxes into their trucks in a ‘Tetris-like’ format, therefore allowing streamlining and economy of scales in packaging costs (and also prevent return rate as bigger boxes offers space to prevent breaking of products)
